Star Wars vs. Star Trek

Hmm...where do I start...

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...

or...

Space, the final frontier...

I have to admit it, there's no way around it...I'm a lover of both!

When I was in grade school, I would watch reruns of Star Trek (the original) and so wanted to be a member of the space-exploring-alien-fighting-team. And to my great surprise, I wanted to marry Mr. Spock and have green-blooded, pointy-eared babies!

(Don't judge me!)

I also remember going to the drive-in movie theatre with my parents and lying on the hood of the car to watch Han Solo making the jump to light-speed with the Millennium Falcon and wishing I was Princess Leah. Did I mention that I also had a huge crush on Han Solo (I even had his action figure which I made marry my Barbie doll in an extremely elaborate ceremony)?

So now you know my dirty little secret.
